Needs
Continued progress in the basic and clinical sciences, therapeutics, technology, and surgery is leading to increased understanding and improved diagnosis and management of COPD. The purpose of this course is to update practicing primary care clinicians on the guidelines for care and the clinically relevant advances in pulmonology and to provide useful, evidence-based information on the diagnosis and treatment of cronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Target Audience
This course is designed for the practicing Primary Care Physicians, PAs and NPs.
Educational Methods
Case presentation, peer consultations, and learning management system.
Evaluation
Evaluation by questionnaire will address program content, presentation, and possible bias.
